Monofilament Part FAQ
Do you have a wig with a monofilament part? For guidance on how to get a flawless, natural look, read below.
When a wig has a monofilament part, this means that there is monofilament material from the hairline to the crown, whose purpose is to give the look of a natural part. In the image below, the monofilament part (also called a mono part) is highlighted in blue.

When parting your wig, it is crucial that the part is placed at the center of the monofilament area.
When the part is too close to the seam between the monofilament and the cap, the seam will be very visible.

The fix? Part your wig at the center of the monofilament area, so that the seams are hidden by the fibers.
